4 Recipes for Your Memorial Day Cookout

by Client

Looking forward to the long weekend ahead? So is the Client team. It’s a great time to get together with friends and family and celebrate the men and women who gave their lives serving our country. If you need some ideas for what to bring to your neighborhood cookout, or your family potluck, we’ve gathered a few of our favorites for you to try out.

Bacon-Wrapped Corn

This bacon-wrapped corn recipe is very simple. It only requires three ingredients and a grill. Plus, the salty bacon will perfectly complement the sweet corn for a delicious side. Simply wrap one slice of bacon around one ear of sweet corn, sprinkle with chili powder and wrap with a piece of aluminum foil. Grill for 20-25 minutes or until tender and you’re all set for a side dish that will be a hit!

Creamy Red Pepper Veggie Dip

For something great to munch on throughout the day, this creamy red pepper dip is the perfect appetizer to serve with broccoli, carrots, celery, or crackers. You’ll need eggs, sugar, cider vinegar, butter, flour, cream cheese, sweet red pepper, and green onions to create this refreshing dish. Make sure to plan ahead for this recipe, because it will need to refrigerate for at least two hours before serving with your favorite veggies.

Buffalo Chicken Deviled Eggs

A spicy twist on a Memorial Day cookout classic, these Buffalo Chicken Deviled Eggs are a great way to put your own twist on traditional deviled eggs. You’ll need eggs, crumbled blue cheese, celery, mayonnaise, finely chopped cooked chicken breast, parsley, Buffalo wing sauce, and black pepper. Once you make the deviled eggs, you’ll use blue cheese and wing sauce to make them look as delicious as they’re going to taste.

Bacon and Broccoli Salad

Looking for a way to get your kids to eat more broccoli? This Bacon and Broccoli Salad recipe should help persuade the pickiest eaters to add some broccoli to their plate. In addition to the broccoli and bacon, you’ll also need pecans, dried blueberries, dried cherries, and red onion. For the dressing, you’ll need mayonnaise, sugar, and cider vinegar. This refreshing salad is easy to toss together, and you won’t have to worry about leftovers—because there probably won’t be any.

The Client team is grateful for the selfless heroes who protected our country at all costs. We hope you have a safe Memorial Day Weekend with friends and family. Let us know if you try any of these tasty recipes!
